Royal Holiday has experienced what can only be defined as an "explosive expansion" down in Brazil. This international vacation club started operations in that south american country as early as 2005 and has increased its sales exponentially. "We have exceeded our expectations by an ample margin" stated Rubens Paes, Director of Royal Holiday Brazil. "In just eighteen months, more than a thousand brazilian families have joined Royal Holiday ".
Success brought the need for change. Royal Holiday's member base was growing and Royal Holiday itself faced the need to expand to meet the new members expectations. After opening a sales room in Rio de Janeiro and the Corporate headquarters in Sao Paulo a third office was needed. "We recently opened our third office in Brazil, located in Salvador de Bahia" commented Paes. "The idea behind this project is to cover more territory efficiently. Brazil is a very vast country"
In less than two years operating in Brazil, Royal Holiday has integrated 15 touristic complexes that count amongst the most popular travel destinations, has brought in more than a thousand new members and has gathered a staff of over 100 employees in the areas of client services, marketing, sales, administration and collections.
According to Paes "the average brazilian Royal Holiday consumer is the head of a family that looks for the advantages of a resort that will give him and his family more flexibility to handle their schedules while keeping their routines or the total relaxation offered by the All Inclusive plans. Couples are fond of Royal Holiday as well because they love the plethora of destinations offered by our system and envision the perfect holiday paradise".
At a domestic level, brazilian members have chosen Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza, Buzios and Florianopolis as their favorite Royal Holiday destinations; internationally they prefer Florida, the Mexican Caribbean, Buenos Aires, New York and Paris.
Paes looks at Royal Holiday brazilian branch's future with optimism. "We expect the growing trend to continue through 2008. We have a great system that allows freedom and flexibility to our members, more than 180 destinations to choose from and the best quality service, brazilians are starting to notice this and the word is spreading".
