For the last five years, Royal Holiday has experienced sustained and significant growth. They have reached, and in some cases exceeded, their projected goals and thus they see the future as a land of opportunities and challenges.
After 25 years of holding on to the leadership spot in the travel market, Royal Holiday has learnt a very valuable lesson: the only constant is change. For the last five years, Royal Holiday's charts and graphics have been hectic, mirroring the growth the company has experienced in every area of their endeavor.
They have added 4 new hotels to their own Park Royal brand: Park Royal Acapulco, Park Royal Club Cala, Park Royal Cozumel and Park Royal Ixtapa. This additions represent a growth of 80% compared to the number of Park Royal hotels there were in 2002; they also represent a growth of 117% in the number of available rooms. During this same time span, Royal Holiday has created 18 new Sales Rooms around the world, for a grand total of 32 and has increased its Member Base by a dashing 42%, for a total of almost 70,000 members.
But, being the smart entrepreneurs they are, Royal Holiday has not reveled on these numbers, they have used them as a foundation to build bolder and loftier expansion projects.
As accomplished as Royal Holiday may seem, the decision makers at the vacation club think they have not used their competitive advantage to their full potential. For starters, they are thinking on taking their unique brand of hotels and All Inclusive programs to new heights and destinations in Mexico, Caribbean, Central and South America; Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and even Spain are on Royal Holiday's radar for the short term. This expansion alone will bring growth in the areas of sales operations, number of members, number of people on the new members program, number of reservations, etc. This will bring forth the need to expand the call centers, the collection and administration departments and the need for training plenty of new staff members. Royal Holiday is already prepared for this.
Royal Holiday will also expand its business scope to uncharted territories such as fractional sales, real estate, golf courses and other amenities.
Through experience, creativity, entrepreneurial know how and a highly trained staff, Royal Holiday will keep on growing for a long, long time.
